Behance 2016 Year in Review
The Behance team is proud to present our annual Year in Review — it’s a time where we reflect on how amazing the Behance community is and how much they've accomplished over the past year.
This year, we had more than eight million members upload thousands of projects every day. We found that some incredible — and unexpected — things happen when they shared their work.

PURPOSE AND USER GOALS
The purpose of having a year-in-review is not always clear— this may or may not drive sign ups, there's no major metric to track besides direct hits to the page, and it is a stand-alone page that doesn't share any standard UI components with the rest of the site.
However, it was integral to our team to see the impact that our work had on our users, and it was also important for users to see how their participation in our network could positively affect them. There are no analytics for the "surprise and delight" factor that a user may have experience when browsing this site, but through support tickets and general social media feedback, the users made their love of it loud and clear.
Our Year in Review marketing is handled in-house by our community team, and we created a responsive network-wide email blast to alert all our members to the new page.
